QPR attacking midfielder Adel Taarabt has admitted he would jump at the chance of joining Olympique de Marseille this summer.

The Rs are looking to offload some of the highest earners on their books following relegation to the Championship last season and Taarabt has been linked with a move to France.

Marseille are reported to be contemplating an offer for the 23-year-old, a prospect that delights the Moroccan having supported the Ligue 1 club in his younger days.

"The club of my heart? OM," he told Le Parisien. "I have not had a direct contact, but my friend Joey Barton has told everyone at the club about me.

"If OM want me, I'm going. My sisters still live in Marseille. This is the first club I supported."

The Morocco international moved to Loftus Road on loan from Tottenham in July 2009, before signing permanently 12 months later, and has made 150 league appearances for the club, scoring 34 goals.
