Vidal: I want to stay at Juventus

Arturo Vidal has ruled out a move to Real Madrid, insisting that he wants to stay at Juventus.

The midfielder, 26, has been linked with a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, with reports suggesting los Blancos have bid as high as €36 million for the Chilean, but he is adamant that he will stay with the Italian champions.

"I’m flattered by Real Madrid’s interest in me, but I want to stay at Juventus," he said at a press conference on Friday.

"It’s nice to know that the club have turned down such an important offer for me without giving it a second thought."

Juve general director Giuseppe Marotta has stressed the importance of Vidal to Antonio Conte's squad and hopes that a contract extension will be a formality in the near future.

"He is a strong player and a reference point for Juventus going forward," he told reporters. "We are in contact with his agents. It will not be a problem to come to an agreement for a contract renewal."
Vidal has a contract at the Juventus Stadium until 2016.

Juventus confirm Ogbonna signing

Juventus have confirmed they have completed the signing of Angelo Ogbonna from Torino, for a fee believed to be in the region of €14 million.

The 25-year-old is one of the most highly-rated defenders in Italy and was linked with Premier League champions Manchester United before the Bianconeri firmed up their interest.

Ogbonna grew up in Turin and made his Torino against Calcio back in February 2007, before spending the following campaign on loan at Crotone.

Since then he has blossomed into one of the Granata's star men and has built a reputation as an athletically-blessed performer, who can cover both the centre-back and left-back slots.

Manchester United winger Nani, 26, could join Roma this summer, his agent Jorge Mendes has revealed.

Nani’s future at United is currently up in the air with the 26-year-old believed to be considering a move away after failing to receive assurances over playing time.
Real Madrid, Juventus and even United’s Premier League rivals Arsenal have been linked with bids for the winger, but Roma have now emerged as a more likely option.
And according to his agent, Nani could well end up signing for them this summer.
‘Nani is a good player – the whole world knows it,’ Mendes told Radio Mana.

‘Will he go to Roma? Why not?
‘Serie A is one of the best leagues in the world and Rome is a beautiful city. There is the possibility that he will leave United, but at the minute nothing is concrete.
‘We will meet Manchester United and see, but there is interest.’
Nani is already believed to have spoken to new manager David Moyes to discuss his role, but was told he will not be guaranteed regular match action.
The former Sporting Lisbon ace has just 12 months left on his current contract, and has previously indicated he will not be penning a new deal at Old Trafford.

Galatasaray looked like bagging Nani last month but refused to meet United’s £8.5million price tag. [Source : Metro]
